Missed the earlier 31 August 2026 deadline to clear your company's pending MCA filings? There's some relief.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has extended the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 (CCFS-2026) until 15 September 2026, giving eligible companies another 15 days to regularise pending statutory filings.
The CCFS 2026 deadline is now 15 September 2026.
MCA announced the extension through General Circular No. 04/2026 dated 31 August 2026, following representations received from stakeholders. Only the deadline has been extended; all other terms and conditions of the scheme remain unchanged.
This isn't the first extension either:

So if your company still has eligible pending ROC/MCA filings, this additional window can be used to regularise them under the existing CCFS 2026 conditions.
The Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme 2026 was introduced to give companies an opportunity to complete certain pending statutory filings at significantly reduced additional fees.
For eligible annual filings under the scheme, companies can regularise pending forms by paying 10% of the otherwise applicable additional fee. Covered filings include forms such as AOC-4, MGT-7/MGT-7A and ADT-1, along with specified filings applicable to foreign companies.
The scheme also provides concessional routes for eligible companies looking to:
This makes the extension particularly relevant for companies that have old compliance pending but haven't yet used the scheme.
Think of CCFS 2026 as a temporary compliance clean-up window.
If an eligible company has an old AOC-4, MGT-7/MGT-7A, ADT-1 or another filing covered under the scheme pending, completing it during the CCFS window can substantially reduce the additional fee compared with regular delayed filing.
And businesses are already using it. As of 13 July 2026, 92,859 Indian companies and 33 foreign companies had availed CCFS 2026. Additionally, 99 companies had filed MSC-1 for dormant status and 11,829 had filed STK-2 for strike-off.
But there's one important point: 15 September is an extension, not a new scheme. MCA has specifically said that the remaining terms and conditions stay unchanged, and the latest circular does not promise another extension.
The CCFS 2026 due date extension to 15 September 2026 gives eligible companies a little more time to clear pending MCA compliances at concessional fees.
If your company still has old filings pending, check whether they are covered under CCFS 2026 and complete them before the extended window closes.
